I am a th13 and have been upgrading based on largest percent increase for damage and hp. This means I delayed my air defenses until after the scattershots, infernos and xbow upgrades. For every townhall prior to this my air defenses were rather first things to upgrade.

The Giga Inferno (TH13) was introduced with the Town Hall level 13 in December 9, 2019 update. The December 9, 2021 update reduced the upgrade costs of level 2-4 Giga Infernos and the upgrade times at all levels. The September 28, 2023 balance changes reduced the DPS of the Giga Inferno at all levels by 20%.

i dont think upgrade times are too long. Another thing that helps with reducing build times is the gold pass. I understand that some people don't want to pay and thats fine but it is £5 a month, it makes the game more fun imo and you help support the devs of a game you enjoy playing. Lil-Yan42. • 4 yr. ago.

The TH14 Giga Inferno upgrades DOES NOT increase the damage; it only increases the damage-over-time and slow effect of the Poison Bomb (which drops after you destroy the TH). The TH14 Giga Inferno carries over the same damage as the TH13's Giga Inferno. That's why the TH14 weapon upgrade is cheaper and faster to upgrade than TH13's.
